The story behind Plain Evolution 

It is funny how it all begins with a single thought. One day, while reflecting on the modern world, it hit me profoundly: as a society, we are drifting endlessly, caught in a perpetual loop of what I can only describe as The Great Chase. 

We spend our entire lives constantly looking outside of ourselves, trying to catch the next thing to make us feel complete.

Depending on how far we go on our personal journeys, this external search expands into a desperate checklist where we chase affection, recognition, identity, success, respect, love, fame, and fortune. We run after these things relentlessly, yet we never realize a fundamental truth: we are not actually running toward a goal; we are running away from our own inner stillness. Because we are running from something else deep within, this desperate pursuit causes massive disruption to our lives, tearing apart our peace, our relationships, and our well-being.

This constant, outward propulsion does incredible damage to the physical body.Without even realizing it, our posture shifts entirely to mirror our internal state. We begin to lean forward, physically leaning into the future to capture whatever it is we believe we lack. This forward pull creates intense tightness across the chest and causes the stomach to crumple, physically compressing our internal organs until they are suffocated.

In a frantic effort to cope, our digestion breaks down entirely. For some, the compressed stomach misfires and demands constant fuel, driving them to chase food to satisfy a hollow, physical emptiness. For others, the internal pressure creates a false sense of fullness, making it impossible to stomach anything at all. These two extremes can cause severe, independent damage to the system long before other physical complications even begin.


This shift in posture pulls the entire spine completely out of alignment. The spine contains seven gateways within it that are important for our emotional system and our nervous system. When our spine is moving forward, we get trapped nerves, which obviously sends other things out of alignment too.

Suddenly, our hips start to hurt, causing our legs to walk differently. As our legs and subsequently our feet start to cause issues, we instinctively move our shoulders to counterbalance the difference within our leg movements and our walking. This unnatural counterbalance pulls our neck out of alignment, leading us to walk with our heads slightly to one side all the time.

A trapped nerve in the neck then cuts off vital fluids, electrical impulses, chemistry, and blood flow to the brain, which is exactly where brain fog can come from and visa versa the necessary fluids from the brain can be interrupted and blocked going down the to the spine also. Our jaw also can become tight and tense. This chronic jaw tightness and frustration can put pressure on the brain and make the rest of the body tense all the time too.It pulls the spinal cord into a different place too, acting almost like a piece of elastic string that is always dragged forward and under tension. It is like a bow and arrow where the bow is constantly pulled tight because we swallow our words and we don’t say what we want to say. Because we never fire the arrow, we go through life being kind and sweet, swallowing all of this anger until it becomes completely locked within that jawline. You never shoot the arrow, and so the spinal cord remains trapped in that bow-and-arrow situation all the time—always pulled, always stretched, and always out of alignment.


This jaw tension then stops you from swallowing the same way and causes a direct compression of the oesophagus. It causes physical problems with swallowing, which directly disrupts and creates issues with the vagus nerve. It is a complete, whole-body corruption, and people simply do not understand this.It all comes from this fight-or-flight system, this chase, and the panic in the heart. The more we get into this fight, and the more compressed the chest is, the closer we move toward heart failure and everything else too. 

Fight-or-flight eventually becomes absolute terror. If we want to look seriously into this, it is a terrorism system. It becomes terrorism to us. It causes a fight where we have to defend ourselves every single day, leaving the body with no idea what the hell is going on. It thinks we are in danger on a constant, daily basis. The body works tens to the dozens to fix everything, forcing your systems to work in a completely different, unnatural way. This actually makes us start to be snappy, defensive, shouting at other people, and losing patience with people. They don’t know what’s wrong with us; we are just in the perpetual cycle of misery, annoyance, snappiness, disrespecting other people, and feeling disrespected ourselves. It is actually a perpetual cycle of hell.

People are in misery, and they are all just walking around in a daze and not even knowing half of what’s going on, and it’s all because of the brain fog because then the whole body is out of alignment.So you can’t actually think correctly; you feel like you’re in a dream all the time and you’re not feeling great, and you can’t put your finger on it or understand it, your personality changes; you’re not the nice person that you used to be and you don’t understand why, you know deep down you’re a lovely, beautiful person, and so why is all this firing up inside you? It’s all the nervous system. By this stage, your body is completely crumpled. Your organs are moving around, squished, and working incorrectly. We develop problems all over the body, which can then concentrate into one area and cause a major, severe problem, or break down in many different places at once.

This is what many people call the "I’m knackered stage," when people are just completely done. The common belief system is that they are dying, they are ill, or they are just aging. They put it down to old age, but it isn’t. It is simply the amount of time you have been holding this in the body, and the velocity at which you have been holding it.

Age has nothing to do with a number; it has 

everything to do with what you have been holding, how long you have been holding it for, how severe it is, and how much corruption and lack of control exists within your fight-or-flight system. That is what defines what we call age—not the number. But there is good news, we can change this. Believe it or not, we can reverse the aging process, yes you heard it correctly, we can reverse what is aging you, and many healing businesses do that through healing techniques that Plain Evolution use also. We have gone mad as a society. This perpetual obsession with chasing has caused a collective insanity where we have simplified survival mechanisms into our normal, everyday activities. We have lost our understanding of the nervous system, forgetting we are even running. Instead, our deep-seated fight-or-flight responses disguise themselves as our "personality," our "hobbies," our "desires," and our "passions."

It can go as deep as an obsessive, daily routine—like collecting pebbles on a beach. We keep searching for just one more pebble, just a slightly different color, just to reward ourselves and temporarily feel safe.

Even our spiritual pursuits can become another form of chasing. We categorize our endless seeking as "spiritual growth," completely blind to the fact that it is still rooted in a desperate, frantic need.

Why? Because of the sheer amount of fury, momentum, and attention we put into it. That intensity isn't passion—it is fight. It is the fight-or-flight system hijacked by modern life.


You cannot outrun this dynamic. It doesn't matter how free your soul is, how evolved your mind is, or how healthy you think you are. Today, an extraordinary number of people are trapped in chronically unhealthy bodies, and science often struggles to explain why.

The answer is simple: the nervous system is still running.


A body cannot fix itself if it is too busy chasing. Even if it is chasing a cure, or running after an answer to fix what is wrong, it is still bypassing and ignoring the physical body. When stuck in perpetual fight-or-flight, the body cannot function correctly. It cannot produce the right white blood cells. It cannot generate the correct electrical currents. It cannot balance its own internal chemistry.This chronic neglect manifests physically, usually near our primary glands, because our physical glands perfectly match our energetic and emotional systems. It always comes down to one root emotional cause: a nervous system that has forgotten how to stop.


When I finally made the conscious commitment to stop chasing, the most profound realization occurred. The chase was suddenly gone, and at first I felt utterly, overwhelmingly tired and weak.

I was completely and utterly worn out from 40 years of running chasing and panicking thinking most of it was just normal daily activity, I was so busy running and chasing that as soon as I stopped, I could see for the first time how tired I was.

The best thing was, I could also see for the first time how much I just needed to recover and heal.

How important it was for me to rest and recover and even better was the fact I could see a light at the end of the tunnel at last, I knew I was finally in recovery mode instead of flight mode and although drained I knew it was the end of the marathon and not just another pit stop.

At Plain Evolution, on this course we ask you to honour and support yourself and allow this time to be a time where you don’t really do much either. We ask that you allow the body to fully restore. After that you will feel amazing. You’ll want to do lots of things because you’re doing it out of your own choice, but in the period of time whilst we’re doing the work, we ask you to take it nice and easy and honour your body and your mind and your nervous system so you can get back on track fully and really calm down the body and your life.


That duty of care towards yourself is almost as important as all the other work that we do on the course and it kind of happens quite naturally anyway so your body all of a sudden just says, 


“yeah, I’m out  im quitting my lifestyle for a week or two and I’m resting. I’m going to bed early. I’m not going to go for that coffee today. I’m going to do this instead”


and so for that period of time whilst you’re doing the course with Plain Evolution you’ll find it becomes a very relaxed and quiet peaceful time for you. You’re going to feel like we’ve put a peace chamber around your body so you can just sit in a peaceful state and renew, and within that time you will lose years of aging from your face, from your body, from your feelings, from your emotions. Old emotions will leave pain will reduce body will start to reignite and reboot and start to work correctly the body will start to remember how to work correctly again and relief will set in because alignment is starting to happen at a steady pace within.

We are human living a human experience in a human world, we understand life goes on, we still have families, we still have friends. We have people around us

A profound fact you need to understand is Fight-or-flight mode keeps you in a perpetual cycle of chase and running, and so there is not always strong evidence of receiving, and certainly never any satisfaction from what you do receive when the fight-or-flight system is out-of-control. But when we put that into control again and we put it back into its correct box—which is just a primordial necessity to keep you safe from being run over by a car or eaten by a tiger—then actaully, the world is your oyster. You can receive it all; you actually can also receive it quicker, easier, and in a vaster state too.

Another interesting fact to share with you is that our nervous systems have been driven into this state by a wide variety of different root causes. At Plain Evolution, we actively search for those specific triggers, helping you identify exactly where those root causes lie so you can process them and fully let them go. This targeted release is what allows the nervous system to finally regulate correctly.


However as we peel back the layers of these root causes, we must understand that this entire pattern typically begins right at birth; most of us lost control of this system almost from the very moment we were born. It is nothing you did wrong and actually it has nothing to do with whether you have done "the right work" or gained enough spiritual knowledge.


Think about it: you are born under bright, blinding lights, perhaps given a big smack on the bottom to make you breathe your first breaths and so in this case your fight-or-flight system is instantly ignited on day one. 

Even as a tiny baby lying on the sofa, the sudden bark of a dog makes you jump. The doorbell your siblings arguing, we need to understand our nervous system is also triggered because of the chaotic society around us.

We start chasing things on the outside for safety the day we are born, and slowly our health declines from there, simply because we don't know where the inner panic originally came from so we don’t know how to fix our issues.

When we align these pieces—treating the fight-or-flight system with respect for its primordial purpose, but refusing to let it interfere with our spiritual existence—we bring you into absolute harmony and balance.

Once that happens, severe physical issues and distortions in the body can finally heal. This healing doesn't come from an outside force; it comes from your own internal, bodily intelligence. When your body is stuck in a perpetual state of survival, that brilliant intelligence is locked out. It cannot do its job properly.

Fight-or-flight is a destructive force when it runs rampant and unguided within you. But the body is truly amazing at what it can do when it is brought back into alignment. It is incredibly powerful.
